The Madeenan Period 2.
CD # 4: The truce of Hudaybiyah.
Key points of the topic.
·         People of Quraish sent Sohail Ibn Amer to negotiate with prophet (PBUH), a truce. Prophet (PBUH) considers him as a good omen.
·         Quraish were intended on reaching an agreement. They were persistent to come to the term that no Muslim will enter Makah that year. Prophet PBUH wanted settlement. And accepted it.
·         Terms were spoken verbally and only thing left was scribing of agreement. Omer bin khatab (R.A) came n ask why prophet (PBUH) accept their terms and later on regretted it.
·         Terms of Agreement:
        i.            Both agreed to complete truce for 10 years with peace and without war.
      ii.            If anyone from Quraish joins Prophet (PBUH) without permission from his guardian he shall be returned to Quraish.
    iii.            If anyone from the camp Muhammad joins Quraish he will not required to be returned.
    iv.            Both sides agreed to harbor good intentions for each other.
      v.            No theft and treachery shall be condoned.
    vi.            Anyone can be aligns of Muhammad (PBUH) and Quraish according to his wish.
  vii.            Muhammad (PBUH) shall return to Makah that year and next year Makah will be evacuated for him so he could enter with his followers to stay for 3 days only and without armature
·         Narration of Abu Jandal (R.A), son of Sohail Ibn Amer.
·         Companions were sad for returning back without Tawaf from Makah.
·         Muslims women were exception to the rule of returning people to Quraish and Muslim women were not returned to the Makkans if they came to Medina.

CD # 5: The Battle of Khyber.

·         The authority is not given to them who asked for it or have desire for it.

·         Story of Safia Binte Huyaye (R.A).
·         Jews pleaded Prophet (PBUH) to allow them to live in Khyber and cultivate and take care of land for them. So both agreed with the terms that Jews will cultivate their and divide share carefully and will not conceal anything from Muslims.
·         Incidence of dying of servant of Prophet (PBUH).
·         Eating of flesh of donkeys made Haram during battle of Khyber.
·         Incidence of bribing Abdullah bin Rawaha.
·         Jews were evicted by Umer bin Khatab (R.A) from Khyber in his time period.

·         Prophet (PBUH) stated that obedience of Ameer is in good only and if these companions followed his order they will be in hell fire.

·         Prophet (PBUH) provides leaders of Ghazwah backup which means that if the existing leader dies who will be the next. It was a new strategy.

CD # 12: The conquest of Makah, Part 3 and CD# 13: The battle of Hunain.

·         Malik ibn Auf Nasri mobilize various tribes of Hawazan.
·         Prophet (PBUH) moved to tackle them with 12,000 men in the battle of Hunain.
·         Conversation of Duraid and Malik ibn Auf Nasri.
·         Anas ibn Abi Mursad R.A volunteered himself as a guard.
·         Muslims retreated when Hawazan attacked suddenly and took them with surprise.

·         After 9th year of Hijrah Allah commanded that Polytheists are Nijs and they are not allowed to enter the Sanctuary, Masjid al Haram.
·         Political leaders made decision on the basis of economical reasons.
·         Allah says attack the Romans now in Quran.
                                  i.            It was publicized as it was a new enemy and they had great reputation for strength and power.
                                ii.            It needs a lot or preparation due to huge distance.
                              iii.            The season was hot and palm dates was about to ripen and this was difficult time.
                              iv.            Prophet (PBUH) was eager to have greatest mobilization for battle of Tabuk.
                                v.            It was a difficult call and Quran tells the inner feelings of people at that time who were reluctant to participate.
                              vi.            Quran states Muslims are reluctant they had disease of love of this world and cure is that to realize the reality of this world by comparing it to hereafter.
·         If people don’t fight for the cause of Allah He will punish them.
·         Valid excuses staying behind in war is allowed.
·         In this battle, Hypocrites were exposed.
·         Qualities of believers and disbelievers.
                                i.            Believers don’t find excuses to stay behind.
                              ii.            Disbelievers are always in doubt and confused and try to find excuses.
                            iii.            Believers prepared for battle and non believers do not.
